I’m out of commission for a bit due to this acute tendinitis afflicting my elbow. I don’t even play tennis, but I do love the skirts. An office job is killing me. God did not make our bodies to sit at a desk clickety-clacking all day long. The keyboard, the mouse, the small laptop screen. They’re all conspiring to kill me. Roberta Flack and Lauryn Hill sing the theme song to my demise.
Since I cannot write for any extended period of time, Bird and Deal stepped up to do what any loving sons would do. They started their own blogs.
I introduce to you:
and
Bird’s writing about sports, books, and food (other than the sports schtick the boy is all me). Deal writes about mythology and architecture (remnants of school electives that left their mark). These are their own words and ideas. All I did is set up the blogs with the minimal tech skills I have (soon to be outdone by my boys, no doubt). Show the boys some social media love, will ya?

I love it! And what a great way to get them to ENJOY writing and telling stories. Wish you were coming up for Digital Family Summit. They would love it!

Very cool! 🙂 (Hope your tendinitis gets better!)
I have a mythology lover, too, and he was gifted the following book and fell in love with it:
D’Aulaires’ Book of Greek Myths
If he doesn’t have it, it’s worth checking out. The stories are so well told, and the illustrations are gorgeous. We’re planning on getting their Norse myths book for a Christmas gift, too.
