Despite all my political rants, the day I day I lost the most Twitter followers was the day I tweeted that I hate Star Wars. The claws came out that day. I was ill prepared. I had no idea Star Wars fans were so rabid. Lesson learned. Sorta. There continue to be things that the whole world seemingly loves that I don’t. Sometimes I chime in and admit my dislike for <insert thing here>. But mostly I just keep my mouth shut, which is rare and difficult. Well, today is my coming out. While I’m at it, I should confess that I have never seen Breaking Bad, Homeland, Downtown Abbey, Scandal, Revenge, Dexter, or any of the TV shows that everyone I know watches. Hmmm…I’m beginning to wonder what’s wrong with me.
So what’s on your list? And are there any folks out there to validate me here? Someone to tell me I’m not alone?
I’m with you on most of that list. I also dislike Elf On The Shelf, peplum waists, cilantro, and open-toed shoes!
I’m totally with you on expensive jeans. $200 for jeans?!? No, thank you. Mine cost $4 at the thrift store. And you can get “nice” Levis for $30-40, tops. I don’t get it.
But Star Trek? Not even ST: The Next Generation? With the inimitably talented and amazingly attractive Sir Patrick Stewart? We will just have to agree to disagree on that one. 😉

I agree with you on many of your items, BUT how can you NOT like dark chocolate? Maybe you haven’t met the RIGHT dark chocolate. Because OMG it’s my favorite treat with a glass of red wine while watching Dexter. Or Homeland. Or Downton Abbey. 😉
Oh I adore you. I don’t know the difference between Star Wars and Star Trek, I’ve never watched Dr. Who, and given the choice between a fruit dessert and a chocolate dessert, I will take fruit every time. Also, mushrooms taste like dirt.
I am with you on bluegrass music, star trek, zombies, mustaches and a few others –but will keep my dark chocolate and running loves 🙂 (and- confession- I love some of those shows- Orange is the New black, Homeland, Scandal and Downton Abbey).
